McLee came to me with the desire for a new brand identity for his stage name. He wanted something that would stand out, show well on a variety of mediums - but primarily social, and be modern enough yet feel timeless. The initial request was for a logo package and some small branding elements.

When trying to establish yourself as an artist in the music industry, you can only go so far without having an image tied to your music and name. This was the issue McLee ran into when he contacted me. The desire for a brand system that translates his tonality to a visual package was necessary for the next steps in his career. We started with sketches to illustrate different lettering styles that I believed fit his music then we slowly narrowed it down to the current logotype. Once I had the shapes of the logotype, cleaning it all up and working on icons and patterns was the next obvious step in our process. After the logo package was sorted and put together I got to 3D to create a captivating visual he can use across any social platforms or videos in his future. After all was said and done and we put together an EPK for his marketing use, McLee very quickly began booking consistent shows at a higher caliber than before. Interactions, click rates, and impressions all went up after implementing a concise brand identity for his music!
