About
I was granted the opportunity to redesign NBC Motorsports' social image with a focus on their Youtube thumbnails, banners, and assets. This project gave me free range on creating a new sleek look for the channel with a concrete identity unlike its previous self. I used a different color pallete to go with each individual motorsport, allowing room to expand the catalog, and creating a natural color association to viewers' favorite diciplines.

Many sketches involved piecing together what elements embody motor sports. Finding a means to incorporate a photo and text element into the thumbnails and assets felt necessary to give seperation. Finding different lines and paths built into aerial views of race tracks, I believed a symmetric curve would be an appealing way to split the two. Using other elements such as blurs (from speed), glows (from lights), and gravel/pavement were ways to tie in the motor sport aspect of the project.
